| First of all, allow me to say: Welcome to Ultraist Studios.
My name is Mike Kitchen, and I'll be your host.
The first comic book project to be published at Ultraist Studios is Spy Guy. It’s “Looney Toons” meets “Law and Order” where iconic characters are locked in a world of noir. If you like Bone and you like Sin City, then you might just like the ‘hard-boiled funny pages’ of SPY GUY. Check out the store for more details.
Some news and events:
Over the past couple of months we've been shipping out Spy Guy promo-packs to "indy friendly" comic book stores across the globe.
So far the only reply we've received was from Calum Johnston of Strange Adventures Comic Bookshops. If you are a retailer who has received a promo-pack your feedback would be appreciated.
As for comic books stores that are confirmed to having Spy Guy on their shelves: Silver Snail Toronto, Beguiling Toronto, Hairy Tarantula Toronto, and Comic Relief Berkeley. Thank you.
An extra special thanks go out to Leon Emmett of the Harry Tarantula and Rory Root of Comic Relief who actually bypassed the whole commission thing, and outright bought their Spy Guy comics. That means a lot to a hack artist just starting out in this industry.
The Spy Guy Street Team has also been circulating comics at ILM, Tippett, and Weta, so if you happen to work there keep your eyes open...
In other news, Ultraist Studios is teaming up with Possum Press to make a tag team appearance at the Canadian National Comic Book Expo 2006.

It's happening September 1-3/06 at the Metro Toronto Convention Center South Building, located at 222 Bremner Boulevard, Toronto Ontario. Look for us in the Artist Alley!
Finally; next up in the SPY GUY Universe, is a comic called SPUD & HARRY. Some pages have been posted online as a sneak preview. Click here to view them. Once you've viewed them, drop us a message and let us know what you think. All feedback is appreciated.
And thank you for visiting our humble web presence.
Come back soon.
