They were drawn that way right from the first sketch back in 1986, and stuck that way ever since... In these most recent drawing, I'm doing some experiments in weighting the characters to the earth in a <a href="http://www.shaneglines.net/" rel="nofollow">Shane Glines</a> or <a href="http://budplant.com/product.asp?pn=CHRS" rel="nofollow">Chris Sanders</a> style.
