I had always thought so as well. They were drawn that way right from the first sketch back in 1986, and stuck that way ever since…
In these most recent drawing, I’m doing some experiments in weighting the characters to the earth in a Shane Glines or Chris Sanders style. I’m liking the results.

I was debating whether or not to do something like that… at the moment I’m leaning towards not posting that stuff, and instead waiting to use those old drawings as a future comic backup feature. Though I reserve the right to change my mind at any given moment.
